Samuel Beckett's "Waiting For Godot" - Book Rebranding
The challenge in rebranding Samuel Beckett’s "Waiting For Godot" was to enhance its visual storytelling while preserving the complexity and absurdity of the classic text. Although rich in symbolism and depth, traditional print editions often lack the visual elements needed to engage modern readers, especially those unfamiliar with theatrical works.
To meet this challenge, I fully hand-illustrated over 60 pages, accentuating key moments in the novel and visually amplifying its absurdity. The new design is crafted with readability in mind, ensuring the chaotic aesthetic doesn’t compromise the reader’s experience. By striking a balance between artistic interpretation and legibility, the rebranded book appeals to both long-time fans and new readers alike.
